Liam Taylor

The Planetoids are a German Band based in Hannover consisting of 3 members. Jonas Sercombe on guitar doubling as lead vocals, Sven Templin on synth and bass, and Luca Ahlers on drums. This multi-faceted band has a plethora of creative perspectives bursting through their music. Their music is a blend of indie/synth pop which blends digital, analog, and glittery sounds.The vibrant trio have a layered musical ability as they often unpack matters of the heart, mind and sciences.

The Planetoids were established in 2014 and have since then embarked on a journey that gives room for their creativity to unfold purely and authentically, each member being well versed in multiple instruments has contributed to a synergy in their sound on and off the stage, they do not shy away from the quirks and abstractness of the world but at the core the visual and musical collages they create speak to the multifacetedness of the human experience.

Liam Taylor has a four-octave vocal range, a passion for story telling, a
desire to entertain audiences, and a beautiful cat named Olive. His new single “control” is out now on Pubic Hair Records.

Raised in Dallas, Texas, and currently based in Chicago, Liam Taylor is one of most exciting performers and singers of this generation. In his short career, Taylor has already received awards, performed at Lollapalooza, been reposted by Ariana Grande, and built a small following. He’s worked with artists like Johnathon McReynolds, Vulfpeck, and Erykah Badu. Despite his endeavors, at the core he is extremely passionate about singing, and music, and it’s listeners.

His new single, ‘control’ embarks the beginning of a new era where he is experimenting in multiple genres, creating a new funky pop fusion blend that captures the energy and danceability of Taylor’s live performances. The song’s booming bass, sensual synth,
